Pacific Environments NZ Ltd is an environmentally passionate architectural practice focusing on the best outcomes for people, place, and community. With over 60 years’ experience, our portfolio showcases a diverse range of projects – master planning and urban design, civic and community centres, commercial buildings, retirement villages, large and small-scale residential, community housing, education facilities, sports and leisure and resort projects.
Formerly Dodd Paterson + Bukowski Rehm, and then ADP Architects, the practice was originally formed in 1960. The current practice, Pacific Environments NZ Ltd, was formed in June 2006 when Peter Eising (previously a founding director of the highly acclaimed Architects Patterson) merged with the renowned and successful ADP Architects. In 2013, Grant Neill Architects merged with Pacific Environments, bringing a wide range of architectural and urban design expertise and experience.
Pacific Environments is committed to architectural design excellence, creating inspiring ‘fit for purpose’ built environment solutions for our clients. Sustainability, lifestyle and the creation of enduring investment value is core to our design philosophy. Our diverse portfolio finds us working on a collection of different designs, from small to large scale, mixed budget and mixed uses, renovations and alterations to new developments.
We support our services with a clear and cohesive design process. From briefing to project completion, including pre-purchase feasibility, site selection, and contract administration; our goal is to provide an easy-to-follow and enjoyable experience. As one of the founding signatories of Architects Declare New Zealand, we are committed to strengthening our working practices to create architecture and urbanism that has a more positive impact on the world around us.
