Last Thursday was no ordinary day for our Pacific Environments team; it was our much-anticipated team building day! A chance for us to come together, have some fun, and make a positive impact on our community.
Fuelled by friendly rivalry, we embarked on the exciting challenge of constructing the tallest Lego tower. To our surprise, the winning structure soared well above our own heads, showcasing the impressive creativity within our team.
In the spirit of giving back, we chose to donate 20 sets of Lego to the Starship Foundation. Recognising the impact of play in hospital environments, we wanted to provide children with a source of joy during such challenging times, while nurturing their imagination and creativity. We understand that toys like Lego can help ease some of the anxiety of being in hospital, while allowing parents to bond and play with their kids.
We are grateful to Kate Carter from the Starship Foundation and Todd Statham from Corporate Challenge Events for their collaboration, which made this caring initiative possible. We would also like to express our appreciation to Suze Oh from ThinkPlanDo for empowering our team in embracing our shared values earlier in the day.
